Steps to God
God invites you to know His love, receive His forgiveness, and begin a new life through Jesus Christ.
God Loves You
God is love.
The Bible says, "God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life" - John 3:16
So why are we not able to know and experience God's love and plan for our life?
We Fall Short
Our sin separated us from God.
We are created to have fellowship with God, but because of our stubborn self-will, we choose to go our independent way, and fellowship with God is broken. This self-will is an evidence of what the Bible calls sin, which separates us from God forever. The Bible says "All have sinned and fall short of the glory of God." - Romans 3:23, "The wages of sin is death." - Romans 6:23
Here is the good news that dates back about 2,000 years.
Jesus Is the Only Way to God
God sent His only Son Jesus Christ to die for our sins.
Jesus is the Son of God. He lived a sinless life and then died on the cross to pay the penalty for our sins. "God demonstrates His own love for us in that while we were yet sinners Christ died for us." - Romans 5:8
Jesus rose from the dead and now He lives in heaven with God His Father. He offers us the gift of eternal life -- of living forever with Him in heaven if we accept Him as our Lord and Savior.
Jesus said "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me." - John 14:6
God loves you deeply and invites you to be His child. "Yet to all who did receive him, to those who believed his name, he gave the right to become children of God." - John 1:12
You can choose to ask Jesus Christ to forgive your sins and come in to your life as your Lord and Savior.
Receive Jesus
Ask Him to be your Lord and Savior by praying the following prayer:
"Lord Jesus, I believe you are the Son of God. Thank you for dying on the cross for my sins. Please forgive my sins and give me the gift of eternal life. I ask you in to my life and heart to be my Lord and Savior. I want to always follow you."
